Alright so here we go day 2 of my blog. So to continue from where i left off, In January of 2011 we had our precious little girl Mckinsley, we love her so much! Ill start at the beginning, We got pregnant in May, we didn't tell our friends and family until i was about 12 weeks along. We were excited to tell my parents, this would be their first grandchild. My mom was so excited and my dad did not know how to handle the news, that's how excited he was, and every day after that he would call me to see how i was doing, because he could not wait. When we told my in laws we had a perfect set up to tell them that i was prego. We took family pictures and we decided to have our photographer wait till the last group picture, when she took the picture she told every one, "ok now everyone point to the baby in Natalie's tummy!" It was so fun, i have pictures to prove!
I did not have a very hard pregnancy, i cant complain to much. I never got sick, i just had a few headaches in the beginning, luckily i work for a Chiropractor! I even went water skiing when i as 17 weeks along...i know i know, Michael was not to happy about that. I started to get heart burn really bad around week 20, oh my gosh was it bad. I was so miserable, i even woke up in the night twice and had stopped breathing because i had acid reflex so bad. Yuck. I was taking tums, but it was making it worse so who knows how many weeks i dealt with the heart burn and did not take any medicine for it. Now that i look back on it i totally should have called my doctor and got a prescription of something. I was scared about taking medicine for it because the tums had made it so bad. Anyways that's the worst of it. It was fun being pregnant, pretty much all my friends were having babies at the same time, so it was fun to be able to share stories and experiences with everyone and now our kids are all the same age!
So i was due January 27th and always thought that i would go early, don't know why, i just had the feeling. So i woke up on January 22 and had about 3 contractions that morning, nothing serious. I was just kind of crampy
That was the day we gave birth to our beautiful daughter Mckinsley Keele Ericson. She is 7 weeks old today, and is the best baby ever! I even got 8 hours of sleep last night! There will be plenty more stories coming, sorry guys it was so long today, but i am going to treat this like a journal, so there will be alot of information that i am going to want to remember someday when i am old and i forget.
